International Conference on Child marriage

The World Youth Foundation would like to draw your attention to the coming International Conference on Child Marriage: “Strength in Unity, Girls are Not Brides – A Global Youth Partnership to End Child Marriage” at Melaka, Malaysia where the conference will be held from 19 – 22nd May, 2016. Though many policies have been adopted, Million girls are married before the age of 18, endangering their personal development and well-being. These children are continually deprived of their fundamental rights to health, education and safety. Ending child marriage requires work across all sectors and at all levels. It requires us to understand the complex drivers behind the practice in different contexts and adapt our interventions accordingly. Please bring your input and be part of the solution to stop depriving these beings of their fundamental rights to health, education and safety.
